Within Photo Player your photos are automatically organised and displayed in albums. There is an album for each folder on your device, connected cloud storage or USB source which contains photos

You can also build slideshows containing your photo selections from any source

Use Player to play any album or slideshow full screen. Zoom into and scroll through your photos or play them automatically. Select the show to play from the sliding drawer

Use Floating Player to play any album or slideshow in a window that floats on your screen and remains visible and playing while you interact with other apps. You can drag this window around the screen and resize it at will. This mode is particularly useful for large screens, for example tablets

Use Manage mode to:

- Organise your photos into albums on your device, your cloud storage or a connected USB device. Use drag and drop or click to move albums or photos around

- Build slideshows containing any photos you want, in any order. Use drag and drop or click to select albums or photos and to move photos around

Install the Photo Player widget on your home screen to flick through your photos whenever you want

Access to cloud storage is available for Google Drive, Google Photos, Microsoft's OneDrive, Dropbox and Box

You can share a photo, album, slideshow or any set of selected photos using:

- Direct links to Facebook, Twitter and Google+
- Any suitable app you have installed, including for example Instagram or email

Permissions: Photo Player needs access to your storage (SD card, cloud or connected USB source) to enable it to update photos as you require. It uses internet access to enable you to share photos and to provide feedback. When you open the app you are prompted to give
whatever permissions are initially required. You can disable feedback to the developers in Settings. The floating player uses the ability to draw over other apps (without affecting them)
